Four supernumerary seats each in the PG COURSES in Botany , chemistry, English , Physics, Mathematics and Zoology and two each in the PG Courses in Electronics, Statistics, computer Applications and in PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS shall be reserved for the Government nomiees , whereas one seat be reserved for the M.A. Course in psychology. The nomination of in- service teachers shall be made by the state Education Department. Only such of the nomiees shall be eligible for admission who have passed under graduate degree under 10+2+3 pattern with 45% and 40% marks in case of open merit and category candidates respectively However, their admission shall be determined by their performance in the Entrance Test Combined with their aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. Two seats in MLIS programme shall be reserved for candidates with experience In libraries to be deputed by universities, colleges and other public sector institutions In the valley. The selection of these candidates shall be made on merit basis by a Committee comprising the Dean Faculty of Arts, HOD and two senior teachers Of the Department.
