The State Govt has decided to extend the winter vacation in the schools across the valley for more 10 day.
According to the sources the decision was taken in the state cabinet at Jammu on Friday.
Schools where to open on 1st March after more then two months of winter vacation, however keeping in view the bad weather and possibility of more Rains and Snow falls in the coming days it was decided the vacation may be extended further, schools will now open in valley on 12th March, 2012.
