Sub: - North Zone Inter-University Cricket (Women) Tournament 2012-13.
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am sending herewith the detailed information which may please be brought to the notice of the Manager and Coach accompanying the team.
Date of Tournament: - 18-09-2012 to 30-09-2012.
Venue of Tournament: - University Campus, Hazratbal Srinagar.
One copy of the fixture is enclosed for information and necessary action.
General Instructions:
1. The tournament will be organized as per BCCI rules and regulations as adopted by the AIU.
2. All matches up to pre-Quarter will be played of 30 over’s each side.
3. The matches will be played on both Matting wicket as well as on Turf wicket.
4. Use of spike is strictly prohibited on matting wickets.
5. Tournament will be played on Knock-out basis.
6. All the matches will start at 10:00 a.m. sharp on each ground.
7. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the venue, date and time and order of matches to be played.
8. The decision of the Organizing Committee shall be final and binding.
Accommodation:
9. Accommodation will be provided at Youth Hostel situated at Gogjibagh near Amar Singh Degree College only one day before the match and the teams will be required to vacate the rooms within 24 hours of their lost match.
10. Participating teams are requested to bring with them their own locks etc to ensure safety of the belongings.
11. Carpets (Daries), bucket and mugs will be provided at the place of lodging.
12. Managers will have to deposit Rs. 1000/- as security money which will be refunded after the materials issued by the lodging committee are returned.
13. Only 16 players of each team will be provided accommodation. Teams carrying extra players than the prescribed members will have to make their own lodging arrangements.
14. It will be the sole responsibility of the managers to maintain discipline among their team members.
15. Weather in Kashmir will be cold during night in the month of September. The teams are therefore advised to bring their own bedding accordingly.
16. Any use of liquor, drugs etc are strictly prohibited.
Eligibility:
17. Eligibility proforma of the players in typed Quadruplicate dully filled and signed by the competent authority of their Universities. Incomplete eligibility proforma shall not be entertained.
18. Identity cards of the participants for the current session duly signed by the competent authority.
19. Any player without possessing identity will not be allowed to participate.
Officiating Fee :
20. Officiating fee @ Rs. 1000/- per match and the cost of per cricket ball @ Rs. 850/- will be charged from the participating Universities before Toss.
21. BCCI approved SG Tournament special Crocket balls will be provided by the Organizing Committee before the match.
22. Kashmir University is situated at the capital city Srinagar, 11 Kilometers from the TRC (Tourist Reception Centre)
Discipline :
23. All teams should report at the office of lodging place one day before their match.
24. All teams are required to be present at the ground half an hour before the scheduled time for each match.
Notes :
1. Incase of match interrupted due to rain or any other reason the average of power play over’s will be implemented for the disposal of match.
2. In case there is tie, the match will be decide by the average of power play over’s.
